WHAT IS RAICILLA
A SPirit called Raicilla
RAICILLA AGAVE SPIRIT (distilled) made from agave, obtained by the distillation of fermented juices with yeasts typical of the region, spontaneous or cultivated, extracted from mature heads of the agaves “Maximiliana Baker, inaequidens koch, Valenciana, Angustifolia Haw, and Rhodacantha”, among others , with the exception of “Agave Tequilana Weber Azul”, cooked and harvested in the territory covered by the Raicilla Designation of Origin.
What is Raicilla ; It’S a Spirit of aroma and flavor derived from the maguey species used and the production process, diversifying its qualities by the type of soil, topography, climate, water, producer (master raicillero), alcoholic graduation, yeasts, among other factors that define the character and the organoleptic sensations produced by each Raicilla.
